( -- i. ) the most obvious thing anyone could tell about pietro without having to even know him is that he cares deeply for his sister. there is rarely a moment where he isn't by her side, even holding her hand and accompanying her to trivial places. even in slumber, he finds himself keeping a close presence -- it was clear that the two were nearly inseparable, only separating when the situation absolutely calls for it. and to him, there was not a thing he wouldn't do for his sister.
( -- ii. ) wanda had always been there for him, too. after the loss of their parents, she took up that caregiving mantel for both him and peter, both of which have seen her as not just a loving sister but a motherly figure in place of the one they so suddenly lost. and while pietro acted more so like the protector, the one who will always step headfirst into danger if it meant protecting his siblings -- he could be caring and mindful when he wanted to be, even if his heart often came off as cold. these days he was much sassier and sarcastic, even stern to an extent when it came to serious situations. it was all those rough years in sokovia, whether it be in the streets or with hydra that made him this way; but only wanda knew how he truly was deep down, fairly soft at heart and loving, even when he couldn't properly show it --and he planned to keep it that way.
( -- iii. ) but today was a different day ... today, it was his turn to take up that motherly mantel and care for his sister, because she had came to him sick not long after he had awoken. seeing her so weak and clearly in pain over a trivial illness hurt him greatly. the speedster was quick to usher her back to bed and care for her in place of alternatively vision or peter, both of which would be sure to screw things up.
( -- iv. ) the twin sat idly at wanda's bedside as he had convinced her to rest long before. his expression stayed fairly neutral and his arms were stiffly crossed, but it was clear that despite his stoicism that he was extremely worried for her, and couldn't quite sit still in his chair for more than a couple minutes before feeling the need to ask her if shes alright." can i get you anything, wanda? "
